An opening date has been announced for SeaWorld Abu Dhabi in the UAE.

The marine life park will feature a wide range of animal encounters, entertainment options and dining experiences when it opens on May 23.
Featuring five different levels, the park will span an area of approximately 183,000sq.m and will contain over 25million litres of water.
Located on the country’s Yas Island, more than 100,000 marine animals will call the park home.
SeaWorld says that there will be over 35 interactive experiences for guests to enjoy when the park opens. The Polar Ocean realm will feature an immersive ride, whilst the Tropical Ocean realm includes a rollercoaster.
Chairman of SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment, Scott Ross, said: “We're very excited to share that the highly anticipated SeaWorld Abu Dhabi will open its doors very soon. We cannot be prouder and more honoured to open our first SeaWorld outside of the US with such dynamic and innovative partners as Miral and the UAE.
“By leveraging a fundamental SeaWorld design principle of putting animal wellbeing and care at the core of the design, SeaWorld Abu Dhabi is set to redefine the standards of excellence for marine life theme parks across the world.”
