The new Lost Island theme park in Waterloo, Iowa, has introduced a new attraction from Sally Dark Rides, Volkanu: Quest for the Golden Idol.
The ride fits with the park’s mythical island theme and, as its name suggests, takes riders through the central feature of the park, a volcano. Guests use a ‘thermal equaliser’ to battle with creatures en route.
Volkanu introduces fresh levels of cutting-edge technology, says John Wood, CEO of Sally Dark Rides.
The new park is an extension of the Bertch family’s water park and covers 90 acres.
