Intercard recently completed an installation for Round1, a bowling and amusement franchise, in its newest location at Crystal Run Galleria Mall in Middletown, New York, US.

The debit card specialist’s system helps to control many aspects of arcade management including card sales, redemption and service. This installation consists of more than 400 card readers, four iTeller kiosks, a redemption station with a number of iCashier terminals and two POS stations dedicated to membership sales.

The FEC features a large arcade with an array of games including hard-to-find Japanese machines and is the first of Round1’s 15 US-based locations to use Intercard technology.

Round1 said it chose Intercard because its system architecture is ideal for “meeting the demands of the company's large and sophisticated arcades.”

"Round1 decided that Intercard would provide it with a stable, reliable and efficient method for managing multiple complex sites and growing their business," said Jason Mitchell, head of sales for Intercard in North America. "We are exceedingly proud to be associated with an energetic company that is an innovator in our industry."
