A new zipline and ropes course has opened at a ski resort in Boise, Idaho, US.

Bogus Basin

The Mineshaft Challenge Course opened on July 1 at Bogus Basin and stands 55ft above the Explorer Base Camp.

Boasting three levels of fun with different degrees of challenge, trained guides are stationed along the course to coach, encourage and ensure safety for guests.

Each level features 12 unique elements, including cargo climbing nets, ladder bridges, barrel tunnels, rappel devices, high-level balancing features and more.

Guests are secured to a multi-point tether throughout the attraction, allowing them to move around freely while remaining safe.

Once they reach the top, they can return to the ground via an abseil or by using the ziplines, which measure 180ft and 160ft in length.

Jamie Zolber, director of Skier Services, said: “We are incredibly excited to introduce The Mineshaft Challenge Course to the community. This activity is perfect for people who like to test their skills and push their boundaries, team building outings or any group interested in having a fun and thrilling on-mountain experience.”
