The Southend, UK, attraction’s Rage coaster left them stuck at a 90-degree angle when it seized up, but within 40 minutes park staff had evacuated them.

Stockvale Group, owner of Adventure Island, said through its managing director Marc Miller that it was one carriage of the Rage that stopped on the lift, but staff had reacted well to their ride evacuation plan.
