An indoor play centre at Adventure Island, on the seafront in Southend, UK, has undergone an £85,000 revamp.

The project at Adventure Inside, part of Adventure Island, will create double the amount of space for youngsters, reports echo-news.co.uk.

The work has seen a host of new equipment as well as new “interactive features” after parents called for more attractions for small children to be added.

Marc Miller, managing director of Stockvale, which owns the attraction and Adventure Island, said the idea came about after a young mum told him one day that although the play centre was great for the older ones, “there was not enough for the tiny ones.”
