The costume character manufacturer was recently at the DEAL 2023 expo in Dubai, and it says it will also be attending the upcoming Saudi Entertainment and Amusement Expo (SEA) in May.

It unveiled its very own mascot, Ruby, at DEAL to celebrate its 40th anniversary and says that it is expanding its strong reach in the Gulf Co-operation Council market.

At SEA, the company will be attending as a delegate with Experience UK, the trade body for the UK experience sector, which is targeting Saudi Arabia as part of its growth plans in the region.

Simon Foulkes, managing director at Rainbow Productions, said: “This is the 20th time that we have been at DEAL specifically, but we’ve been supplying this area for so many years before that and now it really is a launching pad into the rest of the GCC, specifically Saudi Arabia.

“We expected to be kept busy at the biggest DEAL to date and we were right. This year’s DEAL confirmed not only the region’s growing appetite for costume character mascots but our own strength in this key market.

“We are now actively targeting Saudi Arabia with a view to increasing our market presence in the GCC, where innovation, quality and sustainability will, as ever, be at the heart of every project we undertake.”
