The IAAPA Europe trade show, set for September 12-15 in the UK, will be impacted by an expected rail strike.
The nation-wide strike of railway workers, seeking pay rises, has been set for September 15 and 17. The first of these dates coincides with the last day of the IAAPA Europe expo, which will be held at the giant ExCeL exhibition centre on London’s docklands.
The expo floor opens on the 13th for a three-day run, which would mean that visitors seeking to access the venue by rail on that final day will be frustrated and any visitors from earlier in the week, hoping to travel home that day, will also be in the same boat.
