Queen’s University in Belfast, UK, has opened a gaming hub called Reboot, which features classic arcade titles such as Pac-Man and Street Fighter, as well as the latest esports technology and board games.

The university has partnered with Geek Retreat to create the new facility on Lisburn Road. Reboot’s ground floor features retro arcade classics and a board gaming suite featuring over 100 games, including Dungeons & Dragons and trading card games such as Pokémon and Magic the Gathering. The new gaming hub will be open to both students and the public.
A mezzanine level features all the major consoles and VR setups. Reboot also has the exclusive Red Bull Formula One Racing Simulator.
On the first floor, there is an esports centre with 30 high-performance PCs. The hub can be used for individual play, group sessions or competitive events with spectator screens.
Reboot will also host events such as birthday parties, team-building sessions and nationwide tournaments. It also offers a menu featuring pizzas, smash burgers, hot dogs, vegetarian and vegan options and Fairtrade coffee.
