An amusement centre in Quebec, Canada, is investing CA$2.8m (US$1.9m) in an extension which will house a number of new attractions.

Centre Amusement SPK

Centre Amusement SPK is located in Chicoutimi and already includes karting, escape room, mini-golf and paintball attractions.

The new building will measure 12,000sq.ft across two floors and will house four lanes of bowling, a ninja course and an arcade. SPK’s bowling attractions will include fluorescent colours and subdued lighting, while the mini-golf course, which has been installed since 2010, will undergo a facelift and be moved to the top floor of the new building.

A redemption system will be at the heart of the new arcade, which is costing the centre more than $500,000 and will run on a play card system.

Construction began earlier this month and should be completed by spring 2025, reports CKAJFM.
