Bowling specialist QubicaAMF was showing a new shooting game at Leisure Industry Week in Birmingham, UK, which ended yesterday.
Skiller uses guns that fire polystyrene pellets at high pressure at targets around 10m away. The company’s David Gee told InterGame: "We have had a very good response from operators to this new attraction at the show. We are also exhibiting our highly popular mini bowling system, but Skiller has attracted the same level of interest."
The game has broad appeal and, because polystyrene pellets are used, it can be played by children as long as they are tall enough. The operator can also alter the pressure of the firing mechanism.
Of the LIW show in general, Gee said: "It has gone very well. We have been very busy on each of the three days. This has been a pleasant surprise because you never know what will happen in a recession. Also, I think the show is much better laid out this year."
