The first Popstroke outside of Florida is set to open soon near Houston, Texas.
Backed by golf legend Tiger Woods, Popstroke Katy is a new take on the mini-golf concept with two 18-hole putting courses built with synthetic turf and incorporating fairways, bunkers and rough, just like a traditional golf course.
Players use only a putter, with Popstroke saying everyone can play the experience, even if they’ve never picked up a putter before.
It is located close to two other entertainment centres, Andretti Karting and Cinemark, and the facility features a giant digital leaderboard hanging over the middle of the facility keeping score.
A full F&B offering, including a drinks bar and ice cream with 24 flavours is available for ordering during the game.
