Hungarian manufacturer Playsystem introduced its automatic Gold 'Em Poker game to its domestic market for the first time last week at the Gamexpo show, held in Budapest, Hungary.
According to executive director Jozsef Toth the product is a first for the Hungarian market and was well received by visitors to the show and has benefits to both the players and operators.
“This is one of the most social forms of poker available and will naturally attract players,” he said. “But there are also benefits to the operator in that the machine can be operated in different ways. There is a ‘sit and go’ option, which the operator can implement if they wish to run a small tournament and stop the cash game - for a private party, for example - or the machine can be linked to other machines to run big poker tournaments.”
