Playsafe Systems has reiterated the importance of trade shows as it shows off a number of new products at EAG Expo at ExCel in London, UK, this week.
The company is showing off a range of products including its Thomas paystations, Quantum system solutions and a new portal, set to be released later this year, that it is demonstrating for select customers.
Ian Fuller, managing director, told InterGame: “This is our bread and butter; this is where it all happens. We come here and a good solid percentage of our business will be committed here.
“It is a good indicator of where the industry is at. If people come along and they place an order and commit, then you know it is probably going to be a good year. If they come along and kick the tyres and say ‘give me a call in three months,’ then you might be in for a tough year.
“I’ve already seen a bit of a buzz about the show and the people that are coming on the booth are very positive. It sets the tone for us for the year really. It’s important; we couldn’t miss this. We have to do this show.”
