Located on the eastern bank of the city’s Sabarmati riverfront, the company behind the project, Imagica, recently present its plans to the Sabarmati Riverfront Development Corporation.

A Dave & Buster’s venue is planned to anchor the entertainment development, while there will also be trampoline parks, simulator rides and an arcade.

The endeavour is so far expected to cost RS1.5bn (US$17.9m) and will cover an area of 11 acres.

It is expected that construction would take 18 months, with Imagica taking a 30-year lease on the land. The company already operates a number of attractions located close to Mumbai.
