Joe Kaminkow, a big name from the earlier days of pinball, continues to influence the casino slots business.
Joe Kaminkow, a stalwart of the amusement industry of the 1980s and 1990s, moved into casino slots in 1998 with IGT and brought fresh ideas into IGT’s game development.
Kaminkow is now moving into Aristocrat’s innovation hot seat, as chief innovation officer. He holds over 1,300 patents under his own name.
Kaminkow was a founder of Data East Pinball, which later became Sega Pinball, the forerunner of today’s Stern Pinball, having previously worked at Williams Pinball. He was inducted into the Pinball Hall of Fame in 2004.
