A UK pier has undergone a £130,000 revamp, adding a number of new attractions.
Clacton Pier, in Clacton-on-Sea, Essex, has added three AR darts bays, shuffleboard and pool tables to its existing offering.
The additions are the second upgrade the location has received this year, after it spent £500,000 on a Jurassic Park 4D experience earlier in 2023.
It’s general manager, Harry Peek, also teased that a new project was due to be completed before the end of the summer.
The location is home to a number of different attractions including an arcade, bowling, mini-golf and karting, alongside a full F&B offering.
It first opened in 1870 as a jetty to accommodate landing ships and has been upgraded throughout its history to the venue it is today.
