Funworld has developed a number of initiatives to make the operation of Photo Play terminals even easier.

Firstly, a unique mobile payment solution has been developed, making it possible for the company to transact cashless mobile phone payments, without additional hardware, for networked Photo Play terminals.

The technology is already being used in Finland, where 15,000 transactions were made by mobile phone in the first four weeks.

Josef Ohlinger, chief executive officer at Funworld, said: "We have developed a sophisticated mobile payment solution with know-how and technological expertise, which targets the cashless payment trend and represents an attractive tool for our Photo Play operators, with a high image factor."

The mobile payment feature is completely integrated in the online Photo Play system and needs only be activated on the terminals. It works in cooperation with all mobile network companies and the player can make payments either by SMS or phone call without any surcharges. The game statistics are then listed together with the mobile phone invoicing.

According to Funworld, payments via mobile phone are now booming worldwide, and through this new solution operators can profit from this trend and offer players a modern service. Moreover, the logistics expenses are significantly reduced.

Secondly Funworld has introduced a web-based administration tool, which operators can use to easily and quickly make settings on their own, networked, Photo Play terminals. The online management system gives a detailed overview of the terminal’s performance and makes individual settings possible in the tournament area.

"The new remote set-up makes possible extensive problem-free and uncomplicated terminal settings," said Ohlinger. "Play, prize, language, tournament and credit settings can be easily carried out from the office."

Operators can log on to www.funservice.com at any time and manage their personal Photo Play settings.
