CEC Entertainment’s newly acquired Peter Piper Pizza restaurant and amusements chain provided a boost to the company’s revenues in the fourth quarter of last year.
CEC, which operates the Chuck E. Cheese’s chain, completed the takeover of Peter Piper, which included 32 company-owned stores and 110 franchised locations, in October last year.
Total revenues for the fourth quarter increased 6.8 per cent to $190.7m, boosted by the additional revenues of $12.3m contributed by the new subsidiary.
EBITDA for the three-month period increased 8.4 per cent to $31.8m.
