In a move to cut the use of plastics, three major British theme parks have introduced edible straws.

Alton Towers, Chessington World of Adventures and Legoland announced the move this week.
Merlin Entertainments said that both Alton and Legoland Windsor would offer the sustainable straws as an alternative to plastic. Edible straws are already available at Disney parks and some cruise lines.
The straws will be available in four flavours and are considered more attractive in terms of taste than the other non-plastic alternatives, pasta or rice.
