A cinema that was destroyed in an earthquake six years ago is set to reopen with a new and improved arcade offering.
Event Cinema, part of the Queensgate Mall complex in Lower Hutt, New Zealand, was demolished after sustaining heavy damage during the Kaikōura earthquake in 2016.
Now, it will be reopened with the addition of an IMAX screen and other upgrades.
It will feature a new arcade experience called Play by Event Cinemas, which will feature the latest games from around the world.
