NQ64, the retro arcade bar growing ever-so-popular in the UK, has secured a £2.5m injection to further expand across the country.

The company opened its first venue in Manchester three years ago, but has since opened up in Liverpool, Birmingham, Edinburgh, Cardiff, London, Glasgow, Newcastle.
Funding firm Thin Cats will inject the capital, allowing the NQ64 to open additional sites in Leeds, Belfast, Bristol, Sheffield, Bath, Aberdeen and Brighton.
NQ64 co-founder Andy Haygarth is quoted by the Spirits Business as saying: “With the backing of Imbiba and our new partnership with Thin Cats, we are looking forward to bringing our neon-splattered drinking dens to a host of new guests.
“We generally now invest between £500,000 (US$591,142) and £1m (US$1.18m) into the build of a new site.”
