A publically owned farm attraction is set to receive a zipline in an attempt to transform it into a commercially viable venue.

Zipline

Greenmeadow Community Farm, Cwmbran, UK, currently operates on a local council subsidy but is soon to have it removed.

Bosses hope the installation of a £1.7m zipline, along with other new facilities and F&B offerings will bring more than 70,000 paying customers through the doors by 2026.

The attraction, which opened in the 1980s, will shortly close for its revamp before reopening as a commercial venture in May 2023, reports Nation.Cymru.

Councillor Fiona Cross of the Torfaen Borough Council said the project followed research undertaken into what visitors wanted from the farm.
