A Ghostbusters-themed multiplayer, augmented reality experience has been unveiled using a new prototype headset developed by Japanese tech firm, at its Ginza Sony Park in Tokyo.

The demo video for Ghostbusters Rookie Training shows people using wrist-worn devices as well as the headset, both of which use Sony’s latest visual, tactile and auditory technologies, according to a description accompanying the short clip.
Players must work together to rid the real-world location of its ghosts. The AR headset projects 3D visuals over the real-world environment, while a pair of wrist sensors keep track of the players’ hands, allowing them to interact with virtual elements without the need for handheld motion controls.
The hour-long experience even features an appearance by the infamous Stay Puft Marshmallow Man.
Ghostbusters Rookie Training, developed to coincide with the popular movie’s 35th anniversary, is currently exclusive to Ginza Sony Park, an area built to showcase the company’s products and is set to run until December 8.
