Blackpool Pleasure Beach in the UK has rebranded to Pleasure Beach Resort - not entirely without some criticism.

The major tourist attraction said on social media last week that the new logo will reflect the new name that has been circulated for some weeks.
The venue’s holding company accounts revealed that the park’s hotels remain one of the most profitable elements within the business run by the Thompson family.
It seeks to establish a destination model for the park and its attractions. It is not the first time that a rebranding exercise has been carried out by the operators.
A number of years ago the name was changed to Pleasure Beach Blackpool, but after a few years it reverted back to the old Blackpool Pleasure Beach name.
No official statement on the changes has been made, but the social media profile image and website branding has been altered, but there has been some online comment - many negative - about the name change and fresh logo.
