Blackpool Pleasure Beach in the UK has confirmed that its new £8.72m ride will be named Aviktas.
It will be the tallest ride of its type in the country, but the company is not revealing too many details at this time.
The Pleasure Beach announced its Project 2026 several months ago, Aviktas being a major part of it, situated in the former Bowl-a-Drome site.
We know, however, that Aviktas will be a gyro swing, a spinning pendulum, reaching 138ft at its highest point, seating 40 riders.
The nearest swinging pendulum ride currently in the UK is the 74ft Drayton Manor Maelstrom.
