A new family entertainment centre is to open in north Phoenix, Arizona in 2024.
The FEC, called BackLot, will be opened by the Harkins Theatres chain at The Shops at Norterra location. BackLot will have a full-service restaurant and bar and a sports viewing area that is set to be the largest in Arizona, reports abc15.com. The centre will feature arcade games, bowling, virtual reality experiences, and a patio outdoors with more games as well as private party rooms for events.
Mike Bowers, the CEO and president of Harkins Theatres told abc15.com: “Expanding our brand to dedicated family entertainment centres is a natural progression of our innovation legacy.
"Our secret sauce is our unique ability to pair the fun of an entertainment centre with the excitement of movies at our movie studio-themed BackLot entertainment centres.”
