A climbing centre with an exact replica of the boulder due to be used in the 2024 Olympics has opened in London, UK.
Parthian Climbing has opened in the Southside Shopping Centre, Wandsworth, catering for both experienced and new climbers.
The centre will feature top rope climbing, auto-belays, bouldering walls and lead climbing.
The main attraction is an exact replica of the climbing boulder that will be used in the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. Named “The Titan”, it will provide the opportunity to replicate the climb faced by Olympic level athletes.
The centre will also host a training area, café and shop. The shop will contain high-end climbing gear and accessories.
