Electrocoin is to launch a new version of the popular Bar X game available with the new £100 jackpot at the Park Avenue Open Day next week.

The event, which is taking place in London on June 4, will see the company present Bar X 7even Extra in the Mini Eclipse cabinet for the first time. The game offers various stake and prize options, including 10p/£5.
“We have retained the true values of the game, ensuring that the player will feel the familiarity straight away, while adding the additional option of community gaming,” said the company’s John Stergides. “We are delighted with the new presentation and believe that by using the Mini Eclipse cabinet with an illuminated door brings the best Bar X right up to date.”
Continuing the Bar X theme, the new Bar X hand-held kiosk system will also be on show on Wednesday. First presented at EAG International at the start of the year, the system has now been rolled out across a large number of venues around the UK.
The handheld units are secured in a robust casing and feature tournament games, as well as Cat D Bar X games. Also previewed at EAG, Electrocoin’s new digital product, Wheel N Deal, is now also in full production parallel to the company’s Vegas Strip title.
“The base games from Vegas Strip have been extremely successful and we have now added some new content to the platform,” said Kevin Weir. “In addition, we have now presented five new features that are bespoke to Wheel N Deal. The features bring entertainment to a no-lose bonus game, adding to the ‘value for money’ feel of the product. In addition, any number of games can be linked on community across both the Vegas Strip and Wheel N Deal concepts.”
Visitors to Park Avenue will also have the opportunity to see the latest release from Stern Pinball, Mustang. Making its European debut, the game celebrates 50 years of the Ford Mustang car. This will be presented alongside the popular Start Trek Pro pinball.
