One of the UAE’s largest mall operators has signed a deal to open 50 new cinema screens across the country.
Line Investments & Property and the management arm of Lulu Group International have agreed a deal with Star Cinemas to manage the new openings.
Al Wahda Mall, Abu Dhabi, will receive nine screens, Al Foah Mall, Al Ain, will receive six screens, Barari Outlet Mall, Al Ain, will receive four screens and Al Raha Mall, Abu Dhabi, will receive three screens.
In addition, new locations will also be opened at Sharjah Central Mall, RAK Mall and Dubai Silicon Oasis Mall.
The new openings will make Star Cinemas the second largest cinema operator in the country.
In a social media post, Star Cinemas said it was delighted to sign the deal that would “redefine the cinema experience in the UAE.”
