An American teenager is attempting to break the world record for most mini-golf holes played in a day.

Cole Hetzel, from Ohio, will be joined by his father, Chris, to attempt to beat the current record for most holes played by a foursome in 24 hours at the end of the month.
For the last two years, the pair have organised a daylong marathon session of Wiffle ball for more than 30 hours to break a record and raise money for charity.
The current record stands at 1,440 holes, or 80 rounds, and was set at an indoor course in Germany 17 years ago.
Both Cole and his dad play weekly and will be joined by Bob Schoettinger and Tony Centers in their quest.
The challenge will raise money for Matthew 25: Ministries, an organisation that works with the poor and disaster victims.
