Ventura Park, in the city of Cancun, will be hosting the seventh edition of 10,000 Smiles, a children's charity event organised by The Dolphin Discovery Foundation.

Held on May 1, the event has been organised to coincide with Children's Day. The Dolphin Discovery Foundation, who created the event, is a charity run by global park operator The Dolphin Company, which Ventura Park is a member of.
Visitors to the park on May 1 who have purchased the multi-park Fun Pass ticket will be able to access a discounted ticket costing a preferential price of MXN$150 when presenting a toy with a value also of $150.
The toys collected will be donated to Huellas de Pan, a foundation that has a food centre for children and teenagers, Torontos FC Club, a sports group promoting exercise, and Fundación Casita Corazón IAP, which provides comprehensive rehabilitation services to children with disabilities in the Mayan Zone of Quintana Roo.
"We are very happy to resume this important and beautiful event that is 10,000 Smiles," said Guadalupe Jimenez, chief human resources officer of The Dolphin Company. "Without a doubt, Children's Day is the perfect occasion to carry out this activity that will bring joy to the childhood of those who will receive the toys that we will collect."
"Through our actions, we always try to contribute positively to the communities in which we operate; we are very grateful to our associates and partners who help us make this possible and who really get involved in fulfilling the dreams of these children."
In addition to Venturapark, The Dolphin Company will implement this action in its Selva Mágica Park located in Guadalajara, which will donate the toys collected to Casa Hogar Escalar AC, Mi Último Deseo AC (MUDAC) and Casa Hogar Amigos del Niño Madre Felicitas AC.
Amusement park Aquaventuras Park in Nuevo Vallart will also be partaking in the event, supporting Fundación Corazón de Niña, Casa Hogar Máximo Cornejo Quiroz AC, and Pasitos de Luz AC with the funds collected.
