Merkur Gaming has appointed Ypex as its distribution and service partner in the Netherlands.
Ypex, based in Boxmeer, is well established in its home country with an experienced team, half of which is dedicated entirely to customer service. It has made a name for itself in two particular market segments - change machines and kiddie rides.
Over the years it has built up a long-standing working relationship with the Gauselmann Group, distributing and servicing the GeWeTe change machines and Merkur kiddie rides, alongside representing other suppliers of such products.
“Ypex has proven itself to be a very reliable partner over the years,” explained Jürgen Stühmeyer, management board member in charge of sales at the Gauselmann Group. “Ypex has key market knowledge in the Netherlands and this includes the gaming market. The demand for our gaming solutions is steadily increasing and our own entertainment centres are very popular. Therefore, we asked ourselves how we can further build upon our excellent reputation for service. Here, Ypex will play a very important role.

Ypex currently works with key Dutch arcade operators, providing synergies for both itself and Merkur Gaming. It also has the storage capacity to respond to increases in demand for Merkur Gaming products.
