The Middle East and North Africa Leisure and Attractions Council (MENALAC) has announced the names of its new board members.

Seventeen people have been appointed to the board in total, to serve from May 2024 to May 2025.
The decision was taken at the association’s annual general meeting on May 29. The board comprises of 17 members, including 15 Operator Board members, seven of who have permanent seats and three with continued terms. The remaining five Operator Board positions were open for elections. The Board also includes two spots for manufacturer and supplier members.
Mishal Al Hokair, deputy CEO of Al Hokair Group and president of MENALAC and Silvio Liedtke, CEO of Landmark Leisure and vice president of MENALAC will both be named on the board. Mohammed Attia, CEO of Al Othaim Entertainment and a representee of Majid Al Futtaim Leisure, Entertainment and Cinemas, will also serve on the board.
MENALAC says that the board members will focus on several key areas including aligning with regulatory bodies, strengthening collaborations, widening networking opportunities, promoting knowledge sharing and ensuring equal representation.
