The amount of international interest in the Romanian market is continuing to grow and one company keen to find out more is payment system manufacturer MEI.
Exhibiting for the first time at the Entertainment Arena Expo last week, the company was there mainly to get a better idea of what the current market is like as well as show case the range of products it can provide.
Speaking at the show, Mark Greenawalt told InterGame: "Romania is a fast growing market and there are 36,000 machines currently in the market so everyone is beginning to recognise its value.
"We have a well-established product so Romania for us, is all about new business opportunities."
Commenting on the show itself, Greenawalt told InterGame the visitor numbers were lower than he would have liked, but was hopeful business would pick up further into the show.
