The plans for the Flamingo Land resort close to Loch Lomond in Scotland are ready to be approved by the Scottish Parliament.

Flamingo Land, the operator, plans to build a resort on the banks of the loch.
Its original plan for the Lomond Banks, as they called it, were rejected by the Loch Lomond and The Trossachs National Park authority board last year, but an appeal was lodged by Flamingo Land.
According to the local press, the government’s Planning and Environmental Appeals Division has reported that the appeal is likely to be allowed, despite a petition against the plan with around 175,000 signatures.
