Malibu Jack’s Indoor Theme Parks, a range of FECs across Kentucky, USA, has been acquired by Five Star Parks & Attractions.

The company has three locations across the state, in the cities of Lexington, Louisville and Ashland.
The buyout brings Five Star’s total number of FECs owned up to 16 across eight states.
The new arrangement will see a continued relationship with the original Malibu Jack’s leadership team, which will open additional parks under the Five Star brand.
Locations feature attractions such as bowling, go-karts, mini-golf, laser tag and arcades.
Terry Hatton, part of the family that founded Malibu Jack’s, said: “Our goal has always been to find a way that we, as entrepreneurs, could also make a positive impact on our communities, turning what had been an eyesore or empty store into a place that brings joy to residents and visitors alike.
“We love that challenge, and what appeals to us about this partnership with Five Star is that we'll be able to expand our reach, bringing our original vision to families across the country.”
