Ecoutourism attractions are being planned for Malaysia, following the cleaning of the river at Pengkalan Batu Public Park in the city of Klang.

The river itself was recently was recently cleaned of 75,000 tonnes of waste, reports The Star, with the process of desilting now starting to restore the river to its proper condition.
Following this undertaking, ecotourism attractions being touted by the company behind its rejuvination, Landasan Lumayan Sdn Bhd, are being planned.
Upcoming projects include the Mangrove Point park, located in the Malaysia town of Port Klang, with active entertainment options such as kayaking being favoured by managing director, Syaiful Azmen Nordin.
Other attractions at the soon-to-open park include a 1.6km boardwalk, glamping sites and a jetty, where visitors board a river taxi and cruise down its river.
