Legoland Shanghai in China will be the largest Legoland park in the world when it opens on July 5.

Spanning more than 75 interactive rides, attractions and show across eight immersive land, the new theme park is designed for children aged two to 12 and their families.
The centrepiece of the new Legoland Shanghai Resort is Miniland, an area where visitors will be able to explore historical landmarks, natural wonders and cityscapes built with over 45 tonnes of Lego bricks.
Elsewhere in the park, there will be 22 daily character meet-and-greets, 11 themed live shows and a 4D cinema experience.
John Jakobsen, chief strategic portfolio development officer at Merlin Entertainments, said: “Announcing the grand opening date is a major milestone for Legoland Shanghai Resort. We’re excited to be welcoming guests through the door upon resort opening and are getting ready to bring to life the immersive, imaginative and creative theme park experience that only Legoland can offer.”
