The city of Springfield in Washington D.C. will soon have an expansive new Lego Discovery Centre attraction.

The 32,000sq.ft new indoor attraction will open in August, with the company inviting visitors to be some of its first ever from August 10-13th with a "first to play" ticket.
A collaboration between Merlin Entertainment and the Lego Group, the new Discovery Centre joins 27 existing attractions of its kind around the world.
Lego said of the new centre: "We are so so so excited you and your family are ready to create, build and play at next-gen Lego Discovery Center Washington, D.C.! From an interactive mini world and master classes with our team of master model builders, to a 4D cinema, Imagination Express train ride and state-of-the-art Lego Space Mission experience… your imagination will run wild."
Washington's Lego Discovery Centre will be located near the Springfield Town Centre at 6500 Springfield Mall in Springfield.
