Leah Bettelman, well-known within the US amusement sector, has died.
Bettelman helped her husband Al build CA Robinson and Co into southern California's leading amusement distributor during the electronic games boom of the late 70s and early 80s and was honoured by US trade association AAMA as its person of the year back in the 90s.
The funeral will take place today (December 22), at the Hillside Mortuary in Los Angeles. In lieu of flowers, mourners are asked to honour Bettelman by contributing to the scholarship fund she started and long supported at UCLA for undergraduate studies.
