Games developer LAI Games has announced plans for a strategy to evolve the company.

LAI Games states that it will be "strengthening its game manufacturing business" as well as "accelerating growth in a new line of direct-to-consumer products."
The company said it is confident that its direct-to-consumer division will be able to "scale and independently deliver material value."
LAI Games will also be launching ArcadeXR, which, in the words of LAI Games CEO Mark Easte, will bring the "arcade experience to consumers across new entertainment channels, allowing LAI Games to drive the growth of our games business while continuing to lead the industry in innovation, creativity and operational excellence."
Darren Chia, chief supply chain officer at LAI Games, will bring his experience in product development, manufacturing and supply chain management to the role of managing director at the company's Singapore studio. Chia is expected by LAI Gams to "continue driving the growth" of its product portfolio.
Easte continued: “We're confident that this move will be beneficial to both businesses. ArcadeXR will focus on bringing the arcade experience to consumers across new entertainment channels, allowing LAI Games to drive the growth of our games business while continuing to lead the industry in innovation, creativity, and operational excellence.” ArcadeXR will be led by former LAI chief product officer Shannon Perrell.
LAI Games also reported a prosperous 2022, with consumer initiatives showing promising results and the easing of Covid-related restrictions meaning increased interest in location-based gaming and entertainment. The company asserts that it is well equipped to meet this growing demand.
