The new Japanese all-in-one trade show to be held February 15-16 at Makuhari Expo in Makuhari, Chiba, will have 33 per cent more space.

That may go some way to compensate for the ending of the JAMMA trade show this year. JAMMA has been a constant annual feature of the Asian coin machine scene for the previous 49 years.

It was abandoned this year in favour of a united show, joining the operators’ association, the AOU, which had a regular February date. The amalgamated shows will also feature the SCA shopping centres association and the JAPEA amusement park organisation.

The increased space will enable all exhibitors at the newly-named Japan Amusement Expo to extend their displays.
