Parkdean Resorts is planning a significant expansion of its Thorness Bay leisure park on the Isle of Wight, UK.
Thorness Park in Porchfield already has an array of entertainment options, such as an arcade, soft play area, F&B refreshments, a clubroom and an indoor swimming pool.
Now, the leisure firm is planning to add attractions including a multi-use games area, high ropes course and zip wire, bungee trampolines, a new activity play area for younger children, giant chess and table tennis area and multiple new catering concessions.
On the Wight has shared that the new entertainment zone (concept art pictured) is being optimised for visitors with different access needs, such as for those with extra mobility or sensory requirements and learning difficulties, as well as appealing to visitors of all ages.
