Debit card specialist Intercard reports that it has been spectacularly successful in replacing card systems in locations previously fitted with rival systems.
Head of international sales Alberto Borrero said that Intercard had now been fitted to two sites in Texas, US; a chain in Tennessee had switched to Intercard for its latest location; and an eight-location chain in Canada was replacing its current systems with Intercard.
In the Middle East, where Intercard is particularly strong, its system was going into the Asdaf Mall in Saudi Arabia, Hejaz Mall in Mecca and Kamis Avenue Mall, also in Saudi. Previously all were using other makes.
