The 2024 edition of IAAPA Expo Asia has begun in Bangkok, Thailand, with IAAPA focusing on innovation in the industry.
Taking place from May 27-30, the show will explore the latest trends, technologies and products that the entertainment and attraction industry has to offer.
As is tradition, the event was opened by a glamorous ceremony that included performances of Thailand’s traditional dance in front of a backdrop of scenic rice fields. Highlights included a fan dance with a lotus flower formation.
In his welcoming remarks, IAAPA CEO and president Jakob Wahl emphasised IAAPA’s commitment to innovation, saying: “IAAPA Expo Asia 2024 is a pivotal moment for the attractions industry. Our theme of 'evolution' highlights the need to adapt and innovate to stay competitive.”
