Gardaland Resort, in northern Italy, has introduced a tech-enhanced, immersive new show called Nautilus for 2023.
For the immersive show, visitors are launched into a nautical adventure, with the venue styled as the legendary Nautilus submarine.
Nautilus is comprised of impressive stage sets, stunning LED walls, and an array of projections that create an immersive environment with the use of video-mapping.
Nautilus is a co-production with a variety of "major film studios", with the combination of audience participation, 4D entertainment aspects such as water and steam, and vibrant visuals and technology to enhance the show.
The show has 22 members in total, with actors, singers, and special effects technicians creating a stunning show for visitors.
The story is meant to stir up a range of emotions from "curiosity and amazement" to "tension and empathy", with educational messages designed to inspire reflection on current issues.
