Germany's IMA trade show closes its doors at the Dusseldorf Messe today at the end of a four-day run.
The show confirmed Germany as one of Europe’s leading markets for limited payout gambling machines, with strong contenders for the still-expanding domestic single-site business.
The show also attracted record numbers of non-German visitors, raising again the question of the show’s potential leadership as Europe’s main must-go event for the street market.
Talking points were the continuing battle for supremacy in the German AWP market between the main contenders, the Gauselmann Group, NSM-Löwen and Bally Wulff, and the necessity of a fourth day.
