More than 150 leading suppliers and around 3,000 visitors from around the world attended this year's IAAPA Asia show held at The Venetian Macau Resort Hotel, according to the show organisers.

Products on show included a good mix of coin-operated amusements, with a strong focus being placed on redemption machines and theme park equipment.

However, Cory Haynes from US operator Dave and Busters told InterGame he felt the show was small and that everything that needed to be seen was done in just one day.

Haynes did, however, see a couple of potential pieces - a tank simulator from Tecway and a video redemption game that incorporates cartoon type characters that players stack on top of each other to earn points that are then converted into tickets.

"There was also a fully functioning robot on show from a Japanese manufacturer," he said. "It is about 12ins tall and is controlled by directional buttons by players to pick up a piece of plush and drop it down a chute. It was a lot of fun to watch, but not quite as much fun playing it."
