Five industry figureheads have been inducted into IAAPA's Hall of Fame ahead of an event next month.

August Busch III, the former president and chairman of Anheuser-Busch, has been inducted for his “dedication to conservation and the unrelenting pursuit of quality.”

Gordon, Maggie and Morgan Hartman, of Morgan’s Wonderland, have been inducted for their “vision that has changed perceptions and for their passion that has changed lives,” with the Texas-based park promoting inclusivity for those with special needs.

Barnette Ricci, a legendary Walt Disney imagineer, who is famous for its theme park's night time parades including the Main Street Electrical Parade and Fantasmic, is inducted for “how she redefined live entertainment.”

The inaugural IAAPA Honors event will take place March 3 at the Venetian Resort, Las Vegas, US. The day will include speakers, networking and a showcase of the latest innovators in the entertainment space.

Speaking on the new inductees, IAAPA president and CEO Jakob Wahl said: “The passion, creativity and innovation in the industry never stop. These outstanding new Hall of Fame members have worked tirelessly to push the boundaries and make sure our industry delivers groundbreaking new experiences and opens doors for everyone to experience the joy of attractions and themed entertainment.”
